Meet the Legendary Captain of the SS Gravy Boat!
Step aboard and shake hands with the man, the myth, the legend—Captain Jerry “Gravy” Mahan! With a weathered beard, a twinkle in his eye, and more river tales than a catfish has whiskers, Captain Mahan is the heart and soul of the SS Gravy Boat. Dressed in his signature overalls, coon skin cap, and well-worn captain’s coat, he’s been navigating the Ozark waterways longer than most folks have been eating biscuits and gravy.
Join us for “Storytime with the Captain” in the Grand Saloon, where he’ll regale guests with tall tales of riverboat adventures, legendary fishing trips, and the secret to the perfect gravy. Or catch him at the helm, where he’s always happy to tip his hat and welcome folks aboard.
🚢 Come meet Captain Mahan and let him guide you on the cruise of a lifetime!
📍 Daily meet-and-greet sessions in the Captain’s Quarters – Photos & handshakes encouraged! 🤝📸

Itineraries are being developed, but Memphis, New Orleans, Galveston, Mobile and Charleston are all in the works. Basically, anywhere with some decent vittles.

You can’t. This is an April Fools joke. It’s satire and not affiliated with Silver Dollar City and built by a fan.
But honestly, don’t you wish it was real?
